Rockies-Padres Brawl: Nolan Arenado Charges Mound, Sparks Wild Fracas

After what went down Wednesday afternoon, everyone at Coors Filed might need some cold ones to take the edge off.

The Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres got into a bench-clearing brawl after Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado charged the mound in the third inning. Arenado took exception to a pitch from Padres starter Luis Perdomo, then sprinted toward the right-hander in a fit of rage.

Round 1… Fight!

Yikes. Arenado might make consistent contact at the plate, but he apparently is nothing but swings and misses when it comes to throwing punches.

The All-Star slugger has some pretty killer ninja moves, however.

Golf clap.

Arenado, Perdomo, and Padres catcher A.J. Ellis all were ejected for their roles in the fracas. All likely are looking at suspensions and/or fines, as well.
