Look up “skateboarding” in the dictionary, and you (should) see a picture of Tony Hawk.
But that doesn’t mean everyone’s heard of the baddest dude on Tech Decks.
Hawk, who now is 49 years old (!), recently caught a flight to New York, for reasons we may never know. And after the skating legend touched down at LaGuardia Airport, he encountered a woman who looked at him and then looked at his skateboard … but still couldn’t put two and two together.

At the end of the day, Hawk might be a superstar, but he still isn’t a household name like, say, LeBron James or Tom Brady. Furthermore, not everyone grew up playing the “Tony Hawk Pro Skater” games — although they probably should have.
