At 9-1, the Boston Red Sox have gotten off to the best 10-game start in franchise history.
Following Tuesday night’s 14-1 shellacking of the rival New York Yankees, manager Alex Cora became one of four managers since 1900 to win nine of his first 10 games, as the Red Sox appear to be firing on all cylinders to start the season.

Four different Red Sox currently lead the American League in five different offensive categories, and left-hander David Price is tied for the Major League Baseball lead in ERA.
