A new college basketball champion will be crowned Monday night in San Antonio when No. 1 seed Villanova squares off with No. 3 seed Michigan in the national championship game of the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
The Wildcats last won the national title in 2016 on a historic buzzer-beater over North Carolina. They beat Kansas in the Final Four to reach the title game. The Wolverines’ last championship came in 1989, and they beat Loyola Chicago in the Final Four.
