Watch Leafs’ Jake Gardiner Angrily Break Stick In Game 2 Loss To Bruins

The Toronto Maple Leafs had a chance to even the series against the Boston Bruins on Saturday in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs at TD Garden.

But the Bruins put up seven goals, including four in the first period alone, to earn a 7-3 win and take a commanding 2-0 series lead.

The Maple Leafs just couldn’t keep up with the B’s from the get-go, and defenseman Jake Gardiner unleashed the inner frustration for all of Toronto when he broke his stick over his own net after a Boston goal.

Gardiner clearly had enough, and he let the stick get the worst of it.

The series shifts to Toronto on Monday for Game 3, with puck drop set for 7 p.m. No word on if Gardiner’s stick will travel with the team.
