Two nights ago, Mookie Betts took a fastball at the bottom of the zone from Shohei Ohtani and hammered it over the left-center field fence for a leadoff home run.
He would later hit two more home runs in the Boston Red Sox’s 10-1 win, joining Ted Williams as the only other member of the Red Sox to have three career three-home run games.
And it was more of the same Thursday against the Los Angeles Angels when Betts blasted a high fastball from Nick Tropeano into the left-field seats to leadoff the game.
Take a look:
The Angels probably can’t wait for Betts and the Red Sox to get on the plane and leave town.
