Dan Moret took a nap in the octagon Saturday night.
Gilbert Burns used a brutal uppercut to knock out Moret in the second round of their lightweight bout at UFC on FOX 29 in Arizona. After landing a clean right hand, Burns began swarming Moret against the fence, eventually scoring the KO at 0:59 of Round 2.

Saturday’s triumph marked the first time since 2014-2015 that Burns has scored consecutive victories. With the performance, the 31-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist might’ve increased his chances of appearing in a future UFC pay-per-view event.
Burns fought at UFC 179 in 2014, but his last seven fights have been at cable-televised events.
