Dunkin’ Donuts Poll: Should The National League Adopt The Designated Hitter?

Interleague play doesn’t happen too often, but when it does, the American League must adapt to the rules of the National League when playing at an NL park.

Because the National League doesn’t utilize a designated hitter, AL pitchers are forced to hit. It’s been a debate for years as to whether both leagues should have the same set of rules.

In tonight’s Dunkin’ Donuts poll, we asked fans whether they think the National League should adopt the designated hitter. The results were pretty one-sided. Check them out in the video above.
