Dunkin’ Donuts Poll Question: Should Crew Chief Wear Microphone During Game?

Unlike referees in hockey and football, Major League Baseball umpires don’t wear a microphone.

The mics are helpful during a penalty so fans at home and at the game can hear why a certain call was made. Often times in baseball, it’s self-explanatory why a call was reversed or upheld, but there are always moments when there are questions about why the umpire made a certain call.

In this week’s Dunkin’ Poll, we asked baseball fans whether the crew chief should wear a microphone while on the field. To see the results, check out the video above.
