NFL Week 3 Odds: Early Spreads, Betting Lines For All 16 Games
The New England Patriots slipped to 1-1 this week with their loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, but that doesn’t have oddsmakers worried.
New England will head into its Week 3 matchup against a vastly inferior Detroit Lions team as favorites at +6.5 in the early odds for next week’s action. The Lions were a mess in Week 1 under ex-Pats defensive coordinator Matt Patricia, but looked a little better in a 30-27 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 2. The Lions and Patriots will meet in primetime Sunday night.
Also of note on the sportsbooks heading into Week 3 is the Minnesota Vikings opening at a whopping -16.5 favorite over the lowly Buffalo Bills, who simply have been dismantled in their first two contests.
