Charlie Moore Outdoors Marathon Live Blog: Catch #MadFishXmas On NESN

Didn’t get that one gift you begged Santa Claus for this year? Never fear, the Mad Fisherman and NESN are here to bring you some holiday cheer!

The “Charlie Moore Outdoors” marathon continues Christmas Day with 26(!) episodes of programming. Tuesday’s slate begins at 9 a.m. ET and provides hours of zany fishing action until 10 p.m.

10 p.m.

9:30 p.m. “The Naughty List”
Once more, Adam Pellerin breaks the news that the network’s own Mad Fisherman is on this year’s naughty list. Charlie contacts Tony the Elf and tries to convince him to get a meeting with Seanie Claus. Charlie catches fish with Tony the Elf and Seanie Claus in hopes of getting off the naughty list and invites everyone to a holiday celebration at Angelina’s in Tewksbury, Mass.

9 p.m. “Gilligan’s Island”
Local comedian Paul Gilligan faces his toughest act to date: hanging out with the Mad Fisherman. Paul takes Charlie to his hometown of Ipswitch, Mass. Paul takes Charlie to his favorite Greek restaurant, as well as his favorite steakhouse, the 1640 Hart House. Charlie and Angela visit Crane’s Castle for a history tour.

8 p.m. “Octoberbass”
Now on NESN: It’s one of Charlie’s favorite times of year to fish — October! Charlie heads north in search of October bass. He hooks up with his friend Chris Fitts. Charlie and Chris fish Crystal Lake on Friday the 13th. Charlie and Chris end the trip by catching some big fish. Then stay tuned for “Fall Into the Holidays” at 8:30 as the marathon rolls on.

7:30 p.m. “Battle Lake, Minnesota”
Charlie heads to Minnesota and fishes with local native and friend Josh Anderson. Josh takes Charlie to some of his favorite places to eat in town. Charlie catches big pike and muskie and visits a local bait-and-tackle shop.

7 p.m. “The Naughty List”
Let’s do this again! Adam Pellerin breaks the news that the network’s own Mad Fisherman is on this year’s naughty list. Charlie contacts Tony the Elf and tries to convince him to get a meeting with Seanie Claus. Charlie catches fish with Tony the Elf and Seanie Claus in hopes of getting off the naughty list and invites everyone to a holiday celebration at Angelina’s in Tewksbury, Mass.

6:30 p.m. “Summa Time”
Charlie fishes during the summer months. The Mad Fisherman lands plenty of good bass, but he looks for that big trophy Larry. Charlie makes a visit to friend and restauranteur Chuck Rolecek to critique four of Chuck’s favorite dishes. Charlie travels to Windermere, Fla., to visit Yellow Dog Eat and critiques their world-famous pulled pork sandwich.

5:30 p.m. “Weekend at Burnie’s”
Charlie travels down to Cape Cod. Mad Fish starts by getting a visit from the local police. Charlie hooks up with Cape Cod native Dave Burnie. Dave takes Charlie to the Rock Harbor Grille for fried clams. Charlie has lobsters and steamers from Backside Bakes. Tune in to NESN now to catch it, followed by “Fall Into the Holidays” at 6!

5 p.m. “The Naughty List”

Charlie catches fish with Tony the Elf and Seanie Claus in hopes of getting off the naughty list and invites everyone to a holiday celebration at Angelina’s in Tewksbury, Mass.

4:30 p.m. “Johnny Damon and Friends”
Charlie Moore heads down to Windermere, Fla., to hang out with Johnny Damon. Charlie attends the 2018 Johnny Jam event with Roger Clemens and Tim Wakefield to raise money for the Johnny Damon Foundation. Charlie fishes and talks with Clemens.

4 p.m. “Breakdown Lane”
Max Lane played seven seasons in the NFL. Today, Charlie invites Max on his favorite lake: Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. But Max has a hard time staying in the boat. Max and Charlie visit The Wolfetrap, a local restaurant in town.

3:30 p.m. “Fall Guy”
Charlie fishes during one of his favorite times of the year: the fall. Fishing is off-the-charts and Charlie lands a few big Larries. He also channels his inner Lee Majors’ role as the Fall Guy. Angela cooks her steak and potato soup and the Mad Cook grills Spanish octopus.

3 p.m. “The Naughty List”
Once again, Adam Pellerin breaks the news that the network’s own Mad Fisherman is on this year’s naughty list. Charlie contacts Tony the Elf and tries to convince him to get a meeting with Seanie Claus. Charlie catches fish with Tony the Elf and Seanie Claus in hopes of getting off the naughty list and invites everyone to a holiday celebration at Angelina’s in Tewksbury, Mass.

2:30 p.m. “Feels Like the First Time”
Charlie hits the lake for the first time after a long winter’s nap in New England. The weather is hot and the fishing is hotter. Anthony Moore is four hours north, still ice fishing. Charlie and Anthony visit world famous Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus, Mass., to critique the Saugus wings.

2 p.m. “Fall Into the Holidays”

1:30 p.m. “Tim Wakefield: ‘Knucklebass'”
Charlie teams up with knuckleball legend and Boston Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield. Wakefield talks about winning the 2004 World Series and breaking the 86-year-old “Curse of the Bambino.” Charlie and Tim discuss the history of the knuckleball.

1 p.m. “The Naughty List”

Charlie contacts Tony the Elf and tries to convince him to get a meeting with Seanie Claus. Charlie catches fish with Tony the Elf and Seanie Claus in hopes of getting off the naughty list and invites everyone to a holiday celebration at Angelina’s in Tewksbury, Mass.

12:30 p.m. “Top Notch”
Charlie travels to the Mountain Top Inn and Resort in Vermont. He fishes a lake he has never been on and encounters a lot of obstacles. Charlie critiques the food, fishing and activities and comes to the conclusion that the resort is top notch.

Noon, “Beam Me Up, Harry!”
Charlie travels to the Berkshires in western Massachusetts. Charlie fishes for huge smallmouth bass with his friend Harry Desmond. Charlie and Harry get abducted by aliens!

11:30 a.m. “Colorado — Scene Two”
Charlie and Angela head to Fort Collins, Colo. They critique the local margaritas and make a visit to ’80s Pizza to try out their food and check out all the ’80s memorabilia. They have dinner at Rare Italian in downtown and Charlie critiques the food, fishing and lifestyle in Fort Collins, Colo.

11 a.m. “The Naughty List”

10:30 a.m. “Me, Myself and I”
Charlie visits one of his favorite local lakes in southern New Hampshire. Charlie and Angela try a few drinks at a local restaurant. Charlie critiques the sushi at a local sushi joint. Mad Fish tries his hand at the Teppanyaki grill. Charlie visits 7-20-4 Lounge for a cigar and critiques their whisky and local beers.

10 a.m. “Gneiss Bass”
Charlie heads to Maine, catches plenty of big bass and visits the Gneiss Brewing Company in Limerick, Maine. Charlie also has an encounter with a couple pigs and gives a fishing lesson on using Kermit the Frog during a rainstorm. Mad Fish searches for a 5-pound Gneiss bass.

9:30 a.m. “It’s a Wonderful Life”
Charlie heads to Island Falls, Maine and hangs out with Harvard hockey star Lauren McAuliffe. Charlie catches many beautiful smallmouth and talks women’s hockey with Lauren. Charlie hangs out with his wife and kids at the cabins at the lake.

9 a.m. “Mad Fish Family Christmas”
It’s Christmas as only Mad Fish can deliver. Charlie tries to decorate the house, shop with his family and get everything just right for the holidays, but naturally he winds up fishing with Santa, Rudolph and a disgruntled elf. See the holiday mayhem as only Charlie Moore can deliver now and throughout the day on NESN as part of the Charlie Moore Christmas Marathon!
