The 41st women’s Beanpot tournament continues Tuesday night with a semifinal matchup against No. 7 Boston College and Harvard University at Bright-Landry Hockey Center.
The winner will take on the Boston University Terriers, who defeated the Northeastern Huskies in a thrilling 4-3 shootout win Tuesday night.

The Crimson will face the Boston University Terriers for the Beanpot championship.
Lindsay Reed was phenomenal in net, making a career-high 52 saves for Harvard.

Third Period, 2:36, 4-1 Harvard: BC heads to the power play.
Third Period, 4:13, 4-1 Harvard: Brooke Jovanovich gives the Crimson a comfortable three-goal lead with just over four minutes to play.
Third Period, 7:15, 3-1 Harvard: Harvard receives a penalty shot. Kristin Della Rovere just misses the net as the puck hits the post.
Third Period, 19:51, 3-1 Harvard: That was quick. Lexie Laing nets her seventh goal of the season just nine seconds into the final period off a faceoff win to give Harvard a 3-1 lead.
SECOND INTERMISSION, 2-1 Harvard: The Crimson take a 2-1 lead into the final 20 minutes, thanks in large part to Lindsay Reed. The Harvard goalie already has made 37 saves on 38 shots.

Second Period, 5:29, 2-1 Harvard: It will be 4-on-4 for 1:25. Brooke Jovanovich goes off for hooking.
Second Period, 6:03, 2-1 Harvard: Another penalty for the Eagles. Erin Connolly goes to the penalty box for tripping.
Second Period, 6:16, 2-1 Harvard: The Crimson take their first lead of the night! Dominique Petrie nets her first Beanpot goal to give her team the lead.
Second Period, 7:24, 1-1: BC kills of the penalty.
The Eagles have a whopping 30 shots on net.
Second Period, 9:24, 1-1: Harvard will head to the power play once again after Jillian Fey was called for tripping.
Second Period, 11:50, 1-1: We’re all tied up! Brooke Jovanovich knots the game at 1-1.
Second Period, 12:16, 1-0 Boston College: Harvard killed off the penalty.
Second Period, 14:16, 1-0 Boston College: It’s the Eagles’ turn to go on the power play as Lexie Laing heads to the box for tripping.
Second Period, 16:23, 1-0 Boston College: BC successfully kills the penalty and keeps Harvard off the board.
Second Period, 18:23, 1-0 Boston College: We have our first penalty of the game. The Crimson will play 5-on-4 for two minutes. Megan Keller was whistled for tripping.

The Eagles take a one-goal lead into the second period, but it very easily could have been a much larger deficit for Harvard. Crimson goalie Lindsay Reed turned away 18 of the 19 shots she saw in the first.
