Mar 12, 2019

8:20 p.m.: The Chiefs slapped the franchise tag on Dee Ford, but he might not be in Kansas City for the 2019 season.

8 p.m.: We have another stunner! It looks like Odell Beckham Jr.’s days in New York are over.

2:43 p.m.: The Jets apparently aren’t going to get into a bidding war with themselves and reportedly have issued a deadline for Le’Veon Bell.

2:37 p.m.: Here’s something interesting on Odell Beckham Jr.

2:12 p.m.: The run-heavy Ravens clearly are trying to upgrade in the backfield, and Mark Ingram might also be on their radar.

1:50 p.m.: Tough break for the Jets on a day that could be absolutely brutal for Gang Green.

Free-agent linebacker Anthony Barr seemed poised to land with the Jets and reportedly agreed to a deal with the club. Of course, nothing can be made official until Wednesday, which allowed Barr’s soon-to-be-former team, the Minnesota Vikings, to swoop in and sweeten the pot. They did just that and convinced him to return to Minnesota, according to reports.

Now if the Jets miss out on Le’Veon Bell, too, an offseason with hope for the future will be tempered in a big way.

1:39 p.m.: We finally might be getting closer to a Le’Veon Bell resolution.

12:52 p.m.: The Bills actually have some wide receivers to put around Josh Allen now.

12:40 p.m.: Time to take another free-agent wide receiver off the board.

12:10 p.m.: Latavius Murray is on the move, heading to the Big Easy. As Adam Schefter points out, that means Mark Ingram likely will have a new work address in 2019.

11:58 a.m.: Here are the full numbers for wide receiver Adam Humphries, who reportedly picked the Titans over the Patriots in free agency.

10:59 a.m.: Thomas Davis is going Hollywood.

10:35 a.m.: The Green Bay Packers’ defensive overhaul continues, likely signaling the end of the line for Clay Matthews and Nick Perry.

9:45 a.m.: Another tough break for the Dolphins, who can’t seem to find a quarterback.

9:08 a.m.: After boosting the front seven, the Packers reportedly are getting help in the secondary.

9 a.m.: There’s no shortage of reported options for Le’Veon Bell.

8:55 a.m.: The Green Bay Packers were pretty quiet Monday, but they look poised to upgrade their pass rush as another Baltimore Ravens defensive player leaves the Charm City.

8:30 a.m.: Getting caught up on some of the reported early-morning deals, the Jets and Browns seem hellbent on escaping their recent place as doormats in the AFC. The Browns, to an extent, already have done that, and they took the next step Tuesday morning by reportedly coming to terms with free-agent defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson.

The Jets, meanwhile, continued their free-agent spending frenzy by locking up Ravens linebacker CJ Mosley to a huge deal.

New York’s defense is becoming scarier by the moment, especially considering Monday’s reported agreement with Anthony Barr.

8:15 a.m.: It didn’t take long for NFL teams and players to kick into gear Monday.

The league’s legal tampering window opened, and it didn’t take long for reported deals to come to fruition. Top free agents like Trey Flowers, Trent Brown, Landon Collins and Nick Foles all have new (reported) homes and are all expected to sign on with new teams Wednesday. The beginning of the tampering was also big for a team like the New York Jets, who made a few statements of their own with big-name signings.

Day 2 of tampering is here, and we’ll again be updating you with the latest news and rumors all day, and you’ll be able to get it all right here.
