The Boston Red Sox didn’t hit any home runs in their first game of the 2019 Major League Baseball season, but it didn’t take long for the reigning World Series champions to touch ’em all in game No. 2.

Xander Bogaerts hit the team’s first homer of the season in the second inning of Friday night’s game against the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park. The Red Sox shortstop sat on a 1-0 fastball from Mariners starter Yusei Kikuchi and put in the left field bleachers.

Check it out:

Bogaerts already has two Silver Slugger Awards to his credit, and he’ll put himself in good position to reel in a third if he keeps crushing the ball like that.
