Game 7 got off to a fast start for the Boston Bruins, who scored two goals in the first period against the Toronto Maple Leafs to get things going at TD Garden on Tuesday night.

Joakim Nordstrom notched the first point of the contest for the Bruins thanks to a handy pass from Matt Grzelcyk down in front. It was Nordstrom’s second goal of the series, although the first was on an empty net.
