Matt Barnes Reflects On Visit To Walter Reed National Military Medical Center
The Boston Red Sox were honored at the White House on Thursday, but before they swung by 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington D.C., the club made another stop.
Several members of the team visited the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to spend time with wounded veterans, sign autographs and take pictures.
Red Sox reliever Matt Barnes said it was a very moving experience during a special day for the organization.
