After a disastrous preseason that featured endless drama, the Oakland Raiders cut the wide receiver on Saturday, just two days before their season opener. He will be eligible to sign with another squad soon, and some in the NFL think Bill Belichick would consider taking a flyer on him. In fact, even the oddsmakers are bullish on the Patriots’ chance of landing Brown.
