With the 2020 Major League Baseball season altered due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this season’s trade deadline is scheduled for two weeks from Monday on Aug. 31.

The Red Sox notably haven’t put together the type of season they had hoped for thus far, and therefore have been connected to multiple trade rumors as the deadline quickly approaches.
