Were you expecting Torey Krug to sign with the St. Louis Blues?

He apparently didn’t.

The Bruins confirmed Friday they’d parted ways with Krug after nine years in Boston. And the change definitely caught Krug by surprise.

“To be honest, it was kind of not expected,” he told reporters via video conference, via CLNS Media’s Evan Marinofsky.

Krug agreed to terms on a seven-year deal with the Blues.
