Good news for the Patriots' offense

The New England Patriots’ first injury report of Week 15 featured 13 players, all of whom were limited in Wednesday’s practice.

Damien Harris was not one of them.

The Patriots running back practiced without limitations six days after leaving last Thursday’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams with a back injury.

That’s great news for the Patriots’ offense, as Harris has been their top ball-carrier this season, rushing for 691 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games.

Quarterback Cam Newton, who played through a reportedly painful abdomen injury in the last two games, also was removed from the injury report, as was safety Kyle Dugger (toe).

Wide receiver Donte Moncrief was limited Wednesday after suffering a thigh injury against the Rams, and three players were added to the injury report: offensive tackles Jermaine Eluemunor (ankle) and Justin Herron (ankle) and running back James White (foot).

Eluemunor and Herron both have seen action at left tackle in usual starter Isaiah Wynn’s absence. Wynn is eligible to come off injured reserve after sitting out the last three games but was not present at Wednesday’s practice.

Wide receiver Julian Edelman and outside linebacker Shilique Calhoun both returned to practice Wednesday, starting the 21-day clock on their returns from IR.

The 6-7 Patriots are preparing to visit the 8-5 Miami Dolphins on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium.

Dolphins top tight end Mike Gesicki and starting safety Bobby McCain both did not practice Wednesday, and six Miami players were limited, including receivers DeVante Parker and Jakeem Grant and former Patriots linebackers Kyle Van Noy and Elandon Roberts.
