Mac Jones knows that the Patriots needed a spark to inject life into their season, doing so with a 29-25 victory over the Buffalo Bills in Week 7.

New England ended the game in near-walk-off fashion when Jones hit Mike Gesicki for a go-ahead touchdown.

Just as that play came down to preparation, Jones is echoing his similar weekly messages, even after a momentum-shifting win for the Patriots.

"Sticking to the process," Jones said on WEEI's "Jones and Mego" show on Monday. "Just trying to find ways to win. It's doing the little things, doing the hard things, all that stuff. Definitely made some progress there. Want to continue to grow in that manner like I said. One game doesn't define you. Just keep working. I'll say that every week."

Despite all of the struggles, the Patriots are now 2-1 in the division in 2023. With wins over the Bills and Jets, New England is at least showing the ability to compete with divisional rivals.
