VA Hero Of The Week: Cole Hocker Secures Gold In Electric Olympic Upset

Cole Hocker had no shot at a gold medal in the men’s 1500m at the Paris Olympics. Apparently the 23-year-old American didn’t get that memo.

Hocker entered the race as a 21-to-1 long shot only to stun a roaring crowd at Stade de France as he set a new Olympic record to secure gold.
