Are You Buying Or Selling Patriots After Shocking Week 1 Win?

Is New England's success sustainable?

The Patriots pulled off a stunning upset victory over the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium on Sunday.

New England could be in for a rude awakening, however.

George Balekji and Khalin Kapoor discussed New England’s upcoming schedule on NESN’s “Boston Has Entered The Chat” podcast, pointing out just how difficult things are going to get for the Patriots.

“Geno Smith is a serviceable starting quarterback. You would say he’s better than Jacoby Brissett. That’s a test. Then there’s the Jets, with Quinnen Williams and a top-three defense. Then they get to the 49ers,” Balekji said. “I just want to see them go test-by-test before I buy in. I do buy in that they know what they have to do to win.

“They’re not trying to be something they’re not… I think they know they have to run the ball heavy, they know what they have to do to make that happen and they’re not worried about making changes to be a competitive team.”
