Monday was a big day for former Patriots.
Mac Jones stole the show with an utterly horrendous Jacksonville Jaguars debut in Buffalo, which ignited an avalanche of reactions from New England fans. But the final day of Week 3 also saw a trio of ex-Patriots find new homes.
Jalen Mills reportedly signed to the New York Jets' practice squad. Mills became familiar with the Meadowlands after signing with the Giants in March, but he was released by Brian Daboll's side in mid-August. The versatile defensive back spent the last three seasons in New England, where he signed a four-year, $24 million deal in March 2021.
Calvin Anderson, meanwhile, reportedly latched on with the Steelers. Pittsburgh needed offensive line help after placing tackle Troy Fautanu, the 20th overall pick in this year's draft, on injured reserve. Anderson only played two games with the Patriots last season due to a bout with malaria and an ensuing heart contusion and he was released by New England in late August.

Jalen Reagor rounded out the group of three former Patriots who joined a new team Monday. The 2020 first-round pick, who left New England last week in pretty embarrassing fashion, reportedly joined the Los Angeles Chargers' practice squad.
