Which NFL Players Would Make Up Your NBA Starting Five?

Mo Alie-Cox?

NFL and NBA players love to convince themselves they could play in both leagues, and while most of them are dead wrong, some might just be on to something.

George Balekji and Ountae Campbell are excited for football season, and because of that decided to discuss which NFL stars could make it in the NBA on the latest episode of NESN’s “Hold My Banner” podcast.

Balekji kicked things off with his top pick: Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson. Campbell, a former college basketball player himself, picked a fellow collegiate star in Indianapolis Colts tight end Mo Alie-Cox.

“He played at VCU for four years, averaging eight points per game, four rebounds,” Campbell said. “I need some guy that actually got it done outside of high school. I’m going to take him and put him at the position he played at in college — the four.”
