Davante Adams was the subject of multiple trade rumors this week, so when the wide receiver posted something seemingly random on his social media, fans latched onto it.
Adams reportedly informed the Raiders that he'd prefer to be traded. Las Vegas reportedly is open to the idea with the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints at the top of the All-Pro wide receiver's wish list. That would reunite the 31-year-old with Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr, respectively.
The Pittsburgh Steelers, Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs also are among the teams interested in Adams, but what about the Ravens?
Baltimore immediately entered the conversation Friday when Adams posted a picture of Edgar Allan Poe on his Instagram story. For those who didn't pay attention in middle school or high school, Poe famously lived in Baltimore -- the famous poet was born in Boston, but sorry New England Patriots fans, only the literature nerds know that.

It seemed like Adams expressed interest in the Ravens, but he also dropped a Poe quote, too.
"Believe nothing you hear and half of what you see," the quote read on Adams' Instagram story.
That seemed to signal Adams calling out the rumors about him this week. He might actually be interested in the Ravens, or he was trying to compare the Raiders organization to the House of Usher. The star wide receiver might just be a big Poe fan.
That's all up for speculation as Adams continues to deal with a hamstring injury and as more trade rumors continue to pour in.
