Mac Jones Enjoyed Celebrating Jaguars Victory Over Patriots

Jones watched his new team earn the win

Mac Jones got a fresh start in the NFL this offseason when the New England Patriots traded him to his hometown team in the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jones quickly showed more personality and did enough to win the backup job behind Trevor Lawrence after a solid preseason performance. He crumbled in his relief outing against the Buffalo Bills in primetime, but Jones certainly had a better viewing experience on Sunday.

The battle of brutally struggling teams ended with the Jaguars’ 32-16 victory over the Patriots in London on Sunday.

Jones reposted a video with the caption “W” on his Instagram story of Lawrence’s 58-yard gain to receiver Brian Thomas Jr. against Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez. The Jacksonville quarterback had an efficient day as he completed 75% of his passes with a 95.1 quarterback rating.

Jones threw for 8,818 yards and 46 touchdowns over three seasons with the Patriots with one playoff berth.
