MLB Fans Totally Fed Up With Bob Costas Amid Yankees-Royals Series

The 2024 American League Division Series between the Yankees and the Royals has been pretty exciting thus far, but baseball fans haven’t loved everything about the best-of-five set.

Bob Costas, who’s handling play-by-play duties for TBS, drew horrendous reviews from viewers through the first three contests between New York and Kansas City. The virtual tomato throwing resumed Wednesday night when Costas failed to meet the moment in the Bronx Bombers’ dramatic 3-2 win at Kauffman Stadium.

The forgettable performance in the broadcast booth, which included a completely muffed call on an eighth-inning lineout, ignited an avalanche of social media posts.

Fortunately for MLB fans who are tired of Costas, they might only have to listen to him for one more game. The Yankees can eliminate the Royals and advance to the AL Championship Series with another road victory Thursday night.
