The Bruins are preparing for the first night of a back-to-back on Wednesday, as they’ll take on the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center before returning home.
Boston isn’t able to bring everyone along for the trip, though.
Mark Kastelic will be out of the lineup after suffering an upper-body injury in Monday’s win over the San Jose Sharks. Max Jones will replace him on the fourth line to skate with Justin Brazeu and John Beecher. Trent Frederic will remain out of the lineup with illness.
“(I’m) working on growing my game back to where it should be… excited to be up here and help the team win some games,” Jones said, per team-provided video.
Jeremy Swayman will get the start over Joonas Korpisalo.
