The Bruins recalled goaltender Michael DiPietro from Providence, the club announced Thursday before Boston’s game against the Ottawa Senators at TD Garden.
The goalie prospect has appeared in 22 games with the Bruins AHL affiliate in Providence this season with an overall record of 14-5-3, including three shutouts, with a 1.95 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage.
The 25-year-old netminder ranks second in the AHL in goals-against average and fourth in save percentage and wins. DiPietro was selected for the 2025 AHL All-Star Classic along with Providence defenseman Michael Callahan.
DiPietro has played in 127 career games with Providence, Abbotsford Canucks and Utica Comets, compiling an overall record of 72-39-11 with a 2.60 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage.
The Bruins have not yet announced a corresponding move with the organization to make room for DiPietro on the roster.
