Josh Allen called out the Bills’ haters after Buffalo punched its ticket to the AFC Championship Game.
Sean McDermott, on Sunday night, also had some choice words for someone who recently talked down about his group.
The Bills surely were up to their ears in motivation heading into their divisional-round matchup with the Ravens. But the AFC East champions received some extra fuel from Baltimore radio host Jerry Coleman, who resurfaced a polarizing soundbite in an exchange with John Harbaugh. Coleman reminded the Ravens coach he was hated in Buffalo because he once called it “a city of losers.”
Well, McDermott was ready to clap back at Coleman when the Bills took one step closer to a Super Bowl title.
“Yeah, now it’s a city of winners,” McDermott told reporters, per Pro Football Talk. “It really is. These people in this town are winners. I’ve been here just eight years, but I consider this my hometown. This place is different, and the people here are different, and they deserve more than whoever said that about them.”

Of course, the job is far from finished for the Bills, who still are in search of their first Lombardi Trophy in franchise history. Winning the last game of the season is what matters most, but arguably an even bigger challenge for Buffalo will be knocking off the two-time defending champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
