Boston Common Golf will make its long-awaited debut Monday night with arguably the two most famous golfers on the planet taking center stage.
The TGL season is already a few weeks old, but the Rory McIlroy-led Boston squad will make its maiden voyage Monday night against Tiger Woods and Jupiter Links GC.
Not only is Monday night the first game in Boston Common Golf’s history, but it pits McIlroy against Woods, with two of the league’s founders ready to do battle at SoFi Arena.
Here are the starting lineups for the two clubs:
Boston Common Golf (0-0)
Rory McIlroy
Adam Scott
Keegan Bradley

Jupiter Links Golf Club (0-1)
Tiger Woods
Kevin Kisner
Tom Kim
Jupiter was on the wrong end of a 12-1 beatdown in its first TGL match two weeks ago. Woods remaining in the lineup (teams have four players per roster) isn’t surprising because he’s the most popular golfer of all time. Viewers might be surprised to see Kisner’s name on the lineup card after a pretty brutal opener, but Max Homa withdrew from last week’s Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines and might be dealing with some sort of issue.
But Jupiter does know what to expect, which might be an advantage at least to start.
“It’s not quite as easy as I thought it was going to be,” McIlroy said in a conference call with reporters in December. “It’s like there’s a couple of holes that were halved with bogeys.

” … I’m a competitor at the end of the day, and I want to make sure that when I step in that arena that I’m prepared as possible. And I’m obviously playing for a team and I want that team to win. That’s a big part of it, too.”
It should come as no surprise then that Boston Common Golf is a commanding -225 favorite over a +175 trio of Woods, Kisner and Kim at FanDuel Sportsbook.
For those tuning in for the first time, the two teams will play 15 holes. The first nine holes will consist of triples in an alternate-shot format before singles play over the final six.
McIlroy has the honors and will tee off Monday night at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
