The Boston Red Sox have one of the sport’s top farm systems even with several players close to their debut and sending others away in decisive trades.
Baseball America updated its Top 100 list earlier in the week while MLB Pipeline followed Friday night. The Red Sox watched four prospects land on the list ahead of an exciting 2025 season.
Here’s Boston’s representation:
2. Roman Anthony
7. Kristian Campbell
12. Marcelo Mayer
76. Franklin Arias
Anthony and Campbell are clear-cut candidates to potentially make the Opening Day roster or contribute fairly early in the season for the Red Sox. If Mayer can stay healthy long enough to allow for his development, he should be ready to rock at the big-league level later in 2025.

Arias starts a new wave of talent while the top tier steps to Boston, which should entice the organization and provide some continuity in the prospects for the Red Sox.
Fangraphs had the Red Sox as its third-ranked farm system at the end of the 2024 season.
