Brad Marchand got his championship moment on TD Garden ice as the Boston Bruins captain came out on the winning end of the championship battle of the 4 Nations Face-Off.
Marchand and Canada defeated Team USA in a 3-2 overtime win that delivered the champion of the inaugural international tournament. Marchand’s Boston teammates Charlie McAvoy and Jeremy Swayman finished as runner-ups in the tournament.
The Bruins also posted a celebratory graphic after the victory that added another significant career accolade to Marchand’s resume.
