Celtics fans braced for the cold and snow Thursday but welcomed in a “hot girl summer” vibe with a new signing.
Boston reportedly signed Torrey Craig after the NBA trade deadline passed. The veteran wing gives head coach Joe Mazzulla more options off the bench. Most fans don’t know the journeyman well, but NBA diehards know Craig is dating Megan Thee Stallion. Yes, Grammy Award winner Megan Thee Stallion.
Some fans were intrigued by Craig’s signing but most others were excited to have Stallion along for the Celtics’ repeat run. Brian Scalabrine was also excited — maybe too excited — about Boston’s new addition.
“She was stunning, so I cannot wait till Torrey Craig shows up. I am all for the signing for Torrey Craig. You know, 40% from three. I’m telling you, Eddie (House), Megan Thee Stallion is stunning in person, stunning. I’m all for the signing. Brad Stevens, kudos.
Scalabrine has been married since 2003, and he and his wife share two children. House tried to remind his former teammate of that, but the NBC Sports Boston analyst and broadcaster pressed on.

“I’ll tell her that she’s stunning. She’s stunning.”
It’s safe to say Stallion’s appearance at the Chicago Bulls-Celtics matchup had quite the impression of Scalabrine. And it’s fair to say the 2008 NBA champion wasn’t alone in his opinion.
