The NFL will have their fingers hovering over one extremely important button during halftime at Super Bowl LIX on Sunday.
Kendrick Lamar released his setlist to representatives from FOX and the NFL on Wednesday, according to TMZ. Lamar will reportedly be performing “Not Like Us” during the performance, even though Universal Music Group is currently being sued for defamation over the song by Drake — the person who is directly alleged to be a… you know what, go listen to it for yourself.
The NFL and Fox probably don’t want that word to be broadcast across the world, which is why TMZ’s report included that both parties will have access to dump parts of the performance thanks to the customary five-second delay.
The NFL has experience with this sort of thing, after all.

Lamar, SZA and any other special guests for the performance reportedly will rehearse on Thursday, which is the standard operating procedure for Super Bowl week. CBS elected not to dump that word after “Not Like Us” won record of the year at the Grammys, so maybe it will be heard in front of millions.
