The Red Sox look to snap their three-game losing streak in the second game of their doubleheader with the Cleveland Guardians.

Unable to secure Alex Cora a win in his 1,000th game as manager, Boston dropped the opener 5-4 at Progressive Field.

The Red Sox will make several changes to the lineup with Walker Buehler taking the mound for Boston. Carlos Narváez will be behind the plate and bat eighth after Blake Sabol backstopped the first game. Rob Refsnyder and Romy Gonzalez will slot into the lineup, giving Wily Abreu and Triston Casas the night off. Refsnyder will bat fifth ahead of Gonzalez, and Kristian Campbell moves down the order to seventh after batting sixth in Game 1.

Left-handed pitcher Doug Nikhazy will make his Major League debut for Cleveland, and their lineup features several changes as well, including Bo Naylor behind the plate for Austin Hedges.

First pitch for Game 2 of the doubleheader against the Guardians is scheduled for 6:10 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage on NESN.
