Fighting through emotional tears, Will Campbell proved he is precisely who the New England Patriots want on their offensive line with one statement.
“Imma fight and die to protect them with everything I’ve got,” the fourth overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft told ESPN’s Molly McGrath.
After the NFL’s social media handle posted the video on X, Patriots franchise quarterback Drake Maye wasted little time responding to his new teammate’s sentiments.
“Love this guy already,” Maye wrote with the fire emoji. “LFG.”
The 6-foot-9, 319-pound offensive tackle from LSU tried to compose himself as he spoke through the tears.

“Man, just all the hard work,” Campbell said. “I’ve worked my entire life to be up here. To be able to get my name called by a franchise like New England that means everything to me.”
