Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow shocked all of New England on Sunday with the blockbuster five-player trade which sent designated hitter Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants.

After the deal, Breslow said he will look for more opportunities to wheel and deal ahead of the July 31 MLB trade deadline.

With that in mind, MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand identified two potential targets for Breslow and the Red Sox.

The first one makes too much sense: Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Josh Naylor. He would fill the hole in the lineup left when Triston Casas went down with a season-ending knee injury.

“Naylor is one of more than a half-dozen impending free agents on the (Diamondbacks) roster, and given that a number of teams could use a big corner-infield bat, it’s possible that Arizona could move Naylor (or Eugenio Suárez) and his expiring contract to address other needs,” Feinsand wrote.

The 27-year-old Naylor is hitting .302 this season with nine home runs and 49 RBI, which is tied for 10th in the National League. He made his All-Star debut last season with the Guardians while on his way to setting career highs with 31 home runs and 108 RBI. Cleveland traded Naylor to Arizona in December.

Feinsand’s other trade target for the Red Sox is right-hander Dennis Santana.

“Santana is one of a number of quality relievers who could be moved this summer, but his $1.4 million salary and two years of club control make him an attractive candidate for teams of all market sizes,” Feinsand wrote.

The 29-year-old Santana has a career-best 1.74 ERA in 31 appearances this season. He previously played for the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets and Texas Rangers.
