The Boston Red Sox have won five out of six games against the New York Yankees, and this latest series was powered by former Yankees. On Friday night’s game, former Yankee Carlos Narváez walked it off. On Saturday, former Yankee Greg Weissert got the final out. And on Sunday’s Father’s Day finale, former Yankee Garrett Whitlock got the final strikeout to end things.
The Red Sox are the first team this season sweep the Yankees.
