Brock Lesnar knows a thing or two about being a champion, and he has some advice for Ronda Rousey: Don’t act like a champ. Be one.

In an interview with ESPN on Wednesday, Lesnar said Rousey must decide exactly what she wants from her career in combat sports and pursue those goals with great determination. Lesnar, a former champion in both UFC and WWE, also didn’t mince words in cautioning Rousey against trying to balance her budding acting career with her noteworthy sports career.

Lesnar offered his insight one day after Rousey revealed she contemplated suicide following her shocking loss to Holly Holm in November at UFC 193.

Lesnar’s words are a good reminder that champions are made and that rebounding from defeat perhaps is the most important part of the manufacturing process.
