UPDATE (8:50 p.m. ET): NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport is reporting that Arian Foster is in Boston, but his visit has nothing to do with the Patriots.

ORIGINAL STORY: Could Arian Foster be in a New England Patriots uniform next season?

In short, we have no idea. We have no reason to believe he will or won’t be. But according to Twitter, Foster was around Boston on Thursday.

Of course, we don’t actually know if this picture is real. It could be an altered photo, and it might not even be Logan Airport. We don’t have any actual proof. But it’s certainly a fun exercise to dream of what Foster could do with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick.

When healthy, Foster has been one of the most productive running backs in the NFL. The Houston Texans, the only NFL team for which Foster has played, cut the former Pro Bowler and All-Pro back earlier this season.

In parts of seven seasons, the 29-year-old Foster has amassed 6,472 rushing yards, 2,268 receiving yards and 68 total touchdowns. He’s suffered from several injuries throughout his career, including surgeries on both knees, his ankle, shoulder and back. He’s also suffered from a heart arrhythmia.

Injuries limited Foster to just four games in 2015. After recovering from a torn groin in the preseason, he tore his Achilles in Week 6 and Houston placed him on injured reserve.

The Patriots did not draft any running backs in last month’s NFL draft, and their two main backs, LeGarrette Blount and Dion Lewis, both ended last season on injured reserve.
