Red Bull Racing’s Daniel Ricciardo is quite the character.

The 27-year-old brought an Australian celebration known as a “shoey” to the Formula One paddock this year. He first debuted it when he got a podium in his 100th Grand Prix, and then convinced fellow-Aussie Mark Webber to perform one while he was conducting the podium interviews in Belgium.

Now “The Honeybadger” revealed, during the drivers’ press conference in Singapore, why drinking champagne out of a sweaty racing boot tastes “delicious.”
