Three home teams have quickly climbed to double-digit favorite status on the Week 15 NFL betting lines. Kansas City is a 10.5-point favorite against Oakland; the Chiefs have not been a double-digit favorite since 2006, although they did cover the last two times that was the case. Baltimore is a 14-point favorite against Jacksonville, and the Ravens were previously a 10.5-point favorite against Tennessee. The Ravens covered against the Titans, but failed to cover their previous five games as a double-digit favorite. Finally, Seattle is a 10-point favorite against San Francisco. This is the first time the 49ers have been a double-digit underdog in the Jim Harbaugh era. This is the second time Seattle has been a double-digit favorite this year, having failed to cover a 13-point spread in a win over Oakland.
The New York Jets and Tennessee Titans have the closest spread to open the week. The Titans opened as a two-point favorite, but the line has come down to even at several sportsbooks. The Titans are 1-5 ATS in their last six games, while the Jets are 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 games.
Week 15 “Sunday Night Football” features Philadelphia playing host to rival Dallas. The Eagles are a 3.5-point favorite and are looking for the season sweep, having beaten the Cowboys in Dallas on Thanksgiving. Dallas is 4-1 SU in their last five road games against Philadelphia.
Week 15 wraps up with Chicago hosting New Orleans on “Monday Night Football,” and the Saints are three-point favorites. The total is set at 54 points, and it could easily go OVER in a game featuring two of the worst defenses in football. The total has gone OVER in four of the last five New Orleans games according to the OddsShark NFL Database, and in 12 of Chicago?s last 17 games.
