UPDATE (Wednesday, Nov. 11, 6:25 p.m. ET): It appears Kevin Durant’s injury will cause him to miss some time.

ORIGINAL STORY: This was not the homecoming Kevin Durant wanted.

The Thunder forward suffered a left hamstring strain during the first half of Oklahoma City’s 125-101 victory over Durant’s hometown Washington Wizards. He finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds in the half, but he did not return after suffering the injury.

Thunder coach Billy Donovan told the media after the game he was unsure if Durant would miss time, but he didn’t believe the injury was too serious. Durant, though, didn’t seem as certain, and his frustration might provide more insight to his actual state.

Teammate Russell Westbrook scored his first triple-double of the season (22 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists) in the win, while teammates Dion Waiters (25 points) and Serge Ibaka (23) also contributed in big ways.
