The Boston Bruins will be looking for a fourth straight road win Tuesday night when they take on the rival Montreal Canadiens as +131 underdogs at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Boston rebounded from Saturday’s frustrating 5-2 loss to the New York Rangers with a 4-0 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Monday, ending a three-game slide at TD Garden and lifting the club’s record to 7-5-0 ahead of Tuesday night’s Bruins vs. Canadiens matchup at the Bell Centre.

The Bruins have done their fair share of traveling in the early going, playing seven of their first 10 games on the road and picking up five victories, all as betting underdogs.

Tuukka Rask has been spectacular in the first month of the campaign, recording wins in seven of his first eight outings and holding opponents under two goals five times. Rask struggled in the loss to the Rangers, allowing five goals on 24 shots in his first defeat of the season, but slammed the door on the Sabres, stopping 32 shots in his second shutout.

The Canadiens hit the ice Tuesday sporting an NHL-best 10-1-1 record, including wins in each of their seven home games.

Great goaltending also has been central to Montreal’s early fortunes, particularly from Carey Price, who is second in the league with seven wins and a .952 save percentage and sits as a clear +200 favorite on the odds to win the Vezina Trophy.

However, the Canadiens were awful in defeat last week, matching a franchise worst with a 10-0 loss in Columbus, with backup Al Montoya between the pipes.

Price has fueled the Canadiens’ recent domination of Boston, getting the win in his past eight starts against the Bruins. But Boston claimed victory in their past two visits to Montreal, outscoring the Habs by a 7-2 margin.

Following Tuesday night’s clash, the Bruins return home to face the Blue Jackets on Thursday night. The Blue Jackets set a franchise record for goals scored in a game in their win over Montreal but came out flat in their next outing, dropping a 2-1 decision in St. Louis on Saturday to end a three-game winning streak.

Columbus is 2-1-2 on the road this season, including two shutout victories, and posted wins in its past two visits to Boston. But Colombus fell 6-3 to the Bruins last month on opening night.

The Bruins then kick off a three-game western swing in Arizona on Saturday, gunning for a ninth straight victory over the Coyotes.
