Being the play-by-play announcer for the Boston Red Sox has its perks.

For one, there’s the obvious — getting to sit behind the plate from April ’til October, calling Red Sox games. There aren’t many greater jobs for a lover of sports.

Then, of course, there is the chance to be at Fenway Park and mingle with some big-name celebrities. Over the years, Don has snapped photos with TV hosts Bill O’Reilly and Meredith Vieira, singer Steven Tyler, movie stars Kevin Costner and Rene Russo and more.
