The youngest player to ever play in the NBA at the time, Bryant also became the youngest Slam Dunk champ when he won the 1997 contest at the age of 18. Dunks made him a fan favorite, but the development of his outside shot and midrange footwork made Bryant an all-time great. With all the nagging injuries Bryant has overcome in recent years, it’s easy to forget he was once one of the league’s most exciting high-fliers.
