Several head coaches across the NFL were fired on “Black Monday.”
Luckily for general managers and owners conducting a search for a new head coach, there are plenty of qualified candidates on the market to consider.
Some of these candidates, such as New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, are still coaching because their current teams are in the playoffs.
This means teams interested in hiring them must do so during the bye week or wait until after the Super Bowl. That said, most of these candidates are worth the wait.
