The PawSox lead the International League North Division with a 51-32 record, but they recently suffered their first three-game skid of the season. However, knuckleballer Steven Wright made sure that the skid didn’t increase to four with a complete game 1-0 win over Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday night. Wright scattered seven hits and four walks while striking out three to improve his record to 4-5 with a 4.14 ERA in Pawtucket. He struggled in his only major league start this season, allowing five earned runs on six hits in 3 2/3 innings on April 23, but starts like Monday could earn him another shot on the mound for the Red Sox.
